In 1971, the family took a decisive and visionary step by creating the first optical

With its entry into the optical sector, the company introduced a new culture: a blend

In 1994, a new chapter began with the opening of the first Occhio Papavassiliou store
in Kallithea. This store marked the beginning of the brand’s modern identity, with a
clear aesthetic direction, high principles of professionalism, and ongoing investment
in equipment, know-how, and specialized personnel. This transition signaled the

Today, in 2025, after decades of continuous development, we operate more than 20
stores throughout Greece, making us the fastest-growing optical chain in the country.
